Today, September 20th, 2026 would have been my dad’s 88th birthday. It’s hard to believe that its been five years since his passing. I still think about him, and my recently deceased mom, quite often.

Thus, it seems fitting that when I do my book releases, I often tie the dates to important milestones in my personal life. In a way, The Boundless, book two of my series, The Root of Infinity, is for my dad. The release date is now stamped in history as a gift to him, and a permanent marker that his life mattered.

The Boundless

The timeline is fracturing. The Horde is advancing. And the sister he mourned is still alive.

As their paths converge, the Conjunction Born are thrust into the battle for their worlds’ survival:

  • Timia must wield her terrifying mastery over the fabric of time to stop an inevitable collapse.
  • Cerric, pursued by the Horde’s forces, races to find and warn the others of the enemy’s plans—while struggling to forgive the man who betrayed him.
  • Alarea bends probability to her will, even as an assassin no one else can see hunts her.
  • Py turns her temporal lens toward the Boundless, calculating the arrival of an entity that will bring either their salvation or their destruction.

And Dorik’s uncontrollable ability is the only thing standing between what was and what could be. To prevent total collapse, he faces an impossible choice: abandon his new friends to reach Odrid, or protect the present and watch his family—and Timia—perish as time unravels around them.

The Boundless is Book Two of The Root of Infinity, a four-book science fantasy series featuring a queer and multiracial ensemble cast. Perfect for readers who love magic braided with quantum mechanics, feared outsiders who turn out to be the last hope, and time-travel paradoxes that end in heartbreak.
